Aussie wool prices decline last week

The wool market declined in Australia in the previous week ending Sept 12.

The AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) went down by 3¢ or 0.1%, ending at Au 1022¢/kg.

In the North, the wool indicator fell by 2¢ or 0.4% to 1040¢/kg while in the South, it declined 4¢ or 0.4% to 1010¢/kg.

The Western Indicator went down by 17¢ or 1.7% ending at 1064¢/kg.

When looked at other currencies, the AWEX EMI went down by 20¢ in US Dollar terms in comparison to the last report.
