Aussie wool market declines this week

The wool market declined in Australia during the current week and the AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) changed by 8¢ or 0.8%, ending at 1036/kg.

This reflects a fall of 8¢ or 0.8%, both in the North and South, with their corresponding regional indicators closing at 1061¢ and 1019¢, respectively.

The Western Indicator too went down by 6¢ or 0.6%, ending at 1067¢/kg.

When looked at other currencies during the week, the AWEX EMI decreased by 10¢ in US Dollar terms in comparison to last week.
