For the just past week, trade volume of Puyuan wool yarn market enlarged again, but overall price trend was stable. From varieties trend, rabbit wool yarn rose in trade volume but steady in price. Trade volume of imitated cashmere and imitated rabbit hair continued to rise in the reviewed week. Downstream demand for flash imitated rabbit hair increased, of which imitated rabbit wool twin yarn was popular, with current price at 37,500 yuan per ton. This kind of twin yarn is mainly used in production of sweater jacket to give the advantages of shiny brightness and washing convenience.
Trade volume of acrylic yarn was not big, price offer was stable and actual transactions were slightly relaxed. Both trade volumes of Australian free-knot wool yarn and pure fine wool spinning yarn were slightly enlarged, but price was little changed. Shipment of Australian acrylic yarn was better, of which downstream demand of Australian free-knot acrylic yarn 30/70 clearly rose, with price stable at 50,400 yuan per ton.
Man-made cotton yarn 40s/2 was hot in market. 210 D/36F Nylon-6 FDY market had larger trade volume, with central market price at 27,800 yuan per ton.
Currently production on flat knitting machines of downstream sector has shifted to thick sweaters and raw material consumption of wool yarn has increased significantly. The wool yarn market is expected to post an up trend in trade volume.
