Emerging designer Shani debuts True Blessyn clothing line

Emerging Chicago designer Shani Brown announces the debut of her women's contemporary clothing brand, True Blessyn.
The brand will host its Dream Chaser trunk show, named for the inaugural collection, on December 10, 2011 at Eclectic Chique Boutique, located at 807 W. Dickens Ave., Chicago, IL 60614, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guests will be able to shop True Blessyn's Fall 2011 collection, as well as view and pre-order the Spring 2012 collection.
True Blessyn's Fall 2011 sweatshirt collection incorporates zippers, off-the-shoulder necklines, pockets, and hand-painted designs. The Spring 2012 collection mixes linen and lightweight denim fabrics. The collection also offers edgy limited-edition hand-painted t-shirts made from a bamboo-cotton blend and embellished with acrylic paints.
“I wanted to create classic pieces with a twist in which women could feel comfortable and stylish while chasing their dreams,” says designer Shani Brown.
