“This collection focuses on timeless elegance,” said Stephan Caras. “A woman exudes an innate confidence and femininity when she wears clothes that flatter her shape and highlight a natural radiance. I want women to feel beautiful in my pieces so I’ve designed them to be both sensual and practical.”
Soft winter-white fabrics mixed with delicate laces, satins and silk chiffons are offset by dramatic blacks and jersey combined with guipure lace, plunging necklines, open backs, exaggerated slits and trailing lengths. Sculptured gowns featuring corset and bustier tops emphasize intriguing shapes. Multi-petal organza and chiffon skirts are engineered to float and flirt. The collection utilizes shape, movement and a balanced mix of fabric, colour and texture to express Caras’ enduring inspiration in a fresh light.
