The longest designer dress in the world, about 50 feet long and 1,500 square foot wide, has been recently unveiled at the inauguration ceremony of Trinity Leeds, the new shopping and leisure centre located in New Yorkshire’s city of Leeds.

During the opening ceremony of the shopping mall, the former Cirque du Soleil performer Colette Morrow, who modelled in the record breaking silk gown, dramatically popped out of a giant gift box giving the surprised onlookers an up and close view of the incredibly large outfit.

Created by the famous English fashion designer Henry Holland, the red and yellow coloured full sleeve gown features gigantic black polka dots.

A native of Greater Manchester, Holland is known for his bold 1980s style-inspired T-shirts with quirky catchphrases.
