The forever young and cute red-white polka dot dressed Minnie Mouse, with a matching oversized hair bow, has recently got a makeover from the high-end French fashion house Lanvin.

Designed by the brand’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, the new look of the all time favourite Walt Disney cartoon character has been unveiled at a special runway event celebrating the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris.

The event saw a grown-up version of Minnie Mouse strutting down the runway in an hour-glass royal blue bejewelled gown with padded shoulders and long sleeves.

Other than the adorable girlfriend of Mickey Mouse, the event also saw a more contemporary version of Cinderella’s ball gown, which was a knitted hand-embroidered mini dress in powder blue, designed by the UK-based design trio Sister by Sibling.

Disneyland Paris, also known as Euro Disney Resort or Euro Disneyland, is an entertainment resort featuring two theme parks, seven hotels, and a shopping, dining and entertainment complex.
