Dutch Designers Viktor Horsting and Ralf Snoeren have unveiled their first official bridal collection called ‘Marriage’. The six-piece collection would be a part of their pre-spring/summer 2014 ‘Resort’ collection.

The designers, who are known for their experimental and avant-garde collections have come up with a capsule of six very different and distinct styles.

The bridal-wear line comprises of a modern take on being a bride and is aimed at brides who are not looking for the traditional wedding gowns, but experimental looks for their special day.

The collection boasts of modern designs, from a short shirt-dress with a long train, to a sleek stretch crepe jumpsuit or a strapless mini dress with ruffled hem.

The designers have dedicated the collection to the new-age brides, and all the pieces have been created in the traditional color palettes of white or ivory.

Wedding wear has been a fascination for Viktor and Rolf for a long time with the designers showcasing a white wedding show for their spring/summer 2010 collection, where a white shirt transformed into a parade of wedding gowns.

Earlier this year, the Amsterdam-based fashion designers showcased an outerwear-dominated clothing extravaganza at the Paris Menswear Fashion Week. Made with traditional and techno fabrics, the line was spiced up with blown-up prints of eyeglasses, shoes and giant letters.
