Karl Lagerfeld, the talented German fashion maestro, is all set to open his first flagship outlet in London’s famous retail hub Regent Street.

Keeping with the label’s international expansion plans, the new concept store, which would be the designer’s biggest in Europe to date, will follow the recently launched series of boutiques in cities like Paris, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Beijing and Antwerp.

The 2,700-square-foot outlet will be enhanced with latest technological devices, such as photo booth equipped fitting rooms and iPad mini-integrated display racks which would not only allow the customers to take photographs but also check the digital footage of their favourite merchandise and leave direct messages for the eponymous designer.

The yet to be opened outlet will feature  men’s and women’s ready-to-wear clothing and fashion accessories like scarves and other leather made products.

Owned by the British investment fund Apax Partners, the Karl Lagerfeld fashion label operates two concession stores in Harrods and Selfridges. As part of its current expansion strategy, the brand plans to open several other outlets worldwide over the next five years.
