The English fashion designer Stella McCartney has recently unveiled her Spring-2015 collection at a star studded party in New York’s Elizabeth Street Gardens, according to WWD.

Made using jacquard, triple weave summer tweed, silk crepe de chine and calico duchess fabrics, the range is decorated with ruffles, patchworks, embroidery, blossom and paisley prints, keyhole cutouts and insets.

Replete with asymmetric hems and effortless and feminine silhouettes, the range includes Swallow bird appliqué adorned shirts and slouchy bomber jackets, lightweight coupe dresses, fluid trousers, parkas, tunics, opaque viscose knit cap sleeved T-shirts and wrap skirts.

Based on a palette of calypso green, black, persimmon and ultramarine hues, the line also features strapless full length drop-waist dresses, varsity cardigans, zip front jackets and pleated eveningwear pieces.

The UK-based 42-year-old fashion designer and environmentalist Stella Nina McCartney owns several fashion labels, such as Stella McCartney, Stella McCartney Kids and adidas by Stella McCartney. She is the daughter of the former Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney and the late American photographer and animal rights activist Linda McCartney.
