Isaac Mizrahi has had more ups and downs in his fashion career than a bungee jumper.
He seemed to be riding high in mid-1990s, when his high-end fashion house won financial backing of Chanel and was subject of documentary Unzipped.
By end of decade, he was bankrupt and out of fashion business, focusing on his other career as an actor.
He returned to fashion world with a line of clothing for US budget chain Target three years ago, which became successful.
Fairweather and its Quebec offshoot, Les Ailes de la Mode, have recently unveiled a collection designed by Mizrahi exclusively for the company.
The clothing line by Mizrahi which runs from size four to 14, includes everything from casual pieces to evening wear, accessories and outerwear in the price range of $15.50 to $79.50.
Mizrahi's spring line for Fairweather includes lots of florals, which range from a delicate leaf-green-and-purple print sundress to one in tiers of graphic black-and-white, as well as a striking bold poppy patterned suit.
Key accent colours in the line are key-lime green and poppy red.
Mizrahi is just one of several well-known designers who have created low-priced lines for mass marketers.
