Veteran Designer Monisha Jaising, recognized as the princess of “Bohemian luxe” and the “Inventor of the Kurti”, is geared up to exhibit the stunning ‘World Bride’ Collection at Vogue Wedding Show 2014, beginning from 1st August, 2014 till 3rd August, 2014, at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

The line titled “World Bride” is created for a travelling bride who could be taking her vows anywhere in the world; in a Brahma temple of Rajasthan, a church in Vienna or a mosque in Beirut and concluding the celebration on a yacht docked at the regatta on the bay of Saint Tropez, wearing fuss-free, easy and edgy clothing and still feels like a princess in the most luxurious and exquisite creation.

Says Designer Monisha Jaising, “a-today’s’’ bride is an epitome of modernity, mixed with culture, class and edge."

The ensembles cater predominantly to the travelling bride who gets a comprehensive array, starting with concept saris, fitted gowns and the striking cropped kurti. Usage of luxe fabrics such as pure georgette, leather, velvet, heavy satin, stretch net, nylon, wool crepe, silk jersey, twisted jersey and lace, echoes great style and unparalleled elegance.

Monisha Jaising’s primary source of inspiration is a fusion of Indian, Mughal and European styles of monarchy, architecture and lifestyle.
