The Da Vinci Code fame high-couture jewellery designer, Michelle Ong will exhibit 100 of her creations including four designed for the blockbuster movie, in Glasgow, the city reputed for style and Burrell Collections.
In the first ever exhibition showcasing artistry in jewellery design, the Hong Kong based designer will focus on the common themes running through her work including the fusion of East and West and the combination of traditional and contemporary materials and motifs.
Michelle Ong designs for her own company, Carnet and she is one of the greatest designers of our time, according to international jewellery critic Ryo Yamaguchi.
Some of the celebrities who have been dressed up by Carnet are Kate Winslet, Teri Hatcher, Mischa Barton, Glenn Close, the opera singer, Hayley Westenra, and supermodel Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.
