Castlecorp Business Manager Mijo Katavic along with his 6 teammates won the Qantas Supreme Award for their creation, Tiger Lily, in the fourth Rotorua Wearable Creation's Colour Awards event held at the Convention Centre.
The tiger represents the endangered green spaces while the beautiful and elegant lily symbolizes the female form.
The lily part of the garment was made from rubber covered in faux fur. The "stem" was a leotard, velvet and diamantes and the head piece was twisted willow.
The Most Creative Use of Colour award went to Konica Minolta for the creation called The Graduate. Simon Power, youngest team member, donned the canary yellow leotard.
Awards were given in five categories - youth, tertiary, individual, cultural and corporate.
