For women who would love to have his designs, they are limited to a woman which is 29 centimetres tall known as Barbie doll.
He joined Mattel, owner of Barbie doll, 11 years ago having worked in the New York's fashion industry for five years. One of his friends suggested that since his designs resembled like Barbie, he should find out the possibility of joining Mattel.
Best says that designing for 11 1/2 –inch doll is quite a tough job as designs are to be scaled down to Barbie's size. For impact, he uses colour, texture, feathers and fake fur.
The most recent collection of Best is 2007 Barbie Fashion Model Collection Hollywood. Best says that since L.A. is home of Barbie, it looked natural to design like that.
The collection includes fascinating clothes that women would love to own and also includes a dress which resembles Sarah Jessica Parker's pink item.
