It was a mesmerizing evening of rhythm and style in the Hyatt Regency, Calcutta banquets for Priority Banking customers of Standard Chartered Bank.
Performer and singer Ritika Sahni grabbed the attention of the public there.
After that it was time for grandeur, glitter and extravaganza. Designer Surily Goel, commenced the fashion show with her collection, a mixture of ethnics and westerns. Blend of saris in whites, blues and pinks and dresses of various colours like grey, red and black and shapes- bubbles, empires, sexy tops, corsets, knee pants were put on show.
Designer Narendra Kumar, showcased his collection titled 'When Love Touches You', was extraordinary. Embellishments of ruching, smocking, pleating and abstract print decorated clothes were also displayed. The colours highlighted in his collection were beige, matte gold, navy blue.
A long three-sequence show by Van Heusen, was also offered in the ceremony.
The shades of blacks, browns, greys and neutral coloured suits, ties, trousers, shirts, blazers, as well as shoes were presented. The men walked on the ramp with a new collection of titled V, and the club wear line comprised peppy shirts, lounge jackets, semi-formal trousers from Van Heusen.
A new offering of 'everyday couture for the working woman from Van Heusen ranges from boardroom structures to Saturday night sexy picks was also highlighted. Structured suits, shirts, short skirts, knee pants, summer jackets, as well as sexy empire-line tops and dresses and casual racer backs and denim lowers.The palette was restricted — sky, greys, browns, blues and whites.
The collection was well ornated with broad belts, bags, scarves, jewellery and brooches.
