Designer Michelle Yvette Wilson's is excited about the opportunity to display her 'Carnivale' couture at the charity fashion show and launching it across the showrooms in the country on 1 December, 2006.
The young Massey University fashion major received tremendous media attention when she, as a student, created a shirt for Viggo Mortensen aka 'Aragorn' to wear at the Lord of the Rings world premier.
The founder of 'Michelle Yvette' label says that her years of hard work and efforts have finally been recognized and are now embarking a new journey.
On collections that will hit her stores, Michelle said, "Obviously things have to be toned down a bit to make the garments wearable in everyday life, but the theme still shows through. Carnivale can be seen in the fabrics, stripes and spots. It is in the detailing and also in the tee-shirt prints and accessories."
