'Lux Carnival de Couture', a fashion show organised in Karachi was festival of glamour and grandiose, charm and charisma.
The giants of the Indian fashion industry like Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, Wiqar Ali Khan, Nini and Rizwan Begy showcased their creations.
Tarun's new creation 'Rubayat' was in the spotlight. This collection was created by combining contemporary style and master craftsmanship.
The cuts and curves of the dresses, embellishments with beads of shinning pearls, with shades and hues of whites and reds created a magnificent impact on the audience.
Manish Malhotra's exquisite creation on the chiffon with finer lines of beautiful decoration playing in colours of rust and turquoise left the spectators spellbound.
The audience applauded Rizwan Begy's designs. His flowing gowns, with delicate embroidery of Chinese style flowers ornamented with feather-capsare appreciated very much.
Finally, film star Urmila Madhokar appeared wearing a saree. Her catwalk blazed the ramp and audience were completely astounded.
