Designer couple Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor is celebrating ten years of its fashion label 'Surya'. Couple's main studio and workshop are located in Noida, from where they retail through various stores worldwide.
Duo specializes in pret and wedding wear for all family members along with trousseau wear and wedding lehengas for brides. They design couture bags, purses and footwear matching their creations.
Anjalee Kapoor opines that light colours are prevalent in current trends with sarees and lehengas featuring wide use of nets. Dresses are made more appealing through application of base texture in combination with laces.
Fine detailing and use of sequins, trimmings, bead works, Swarovski crystals and zardozi have made the brand's corsets famous. For increasing their customers and introducing Surya in niche markets, both designers are thinking over launching new outlets in the country and abroad.
