Fair skinned Sarah Musa a fair-skinned, half-Palestinian, half-Korean beauty named her three year old clothing business 'Haya' meaning 'modesty' in Arabic.
Sarah realizes women who cover their head have less option for fashion, so she has created a line of conventional yet modern clothing Musa for young Muslim women.
She created a website for selling her designs and within months Haya was thriving. The average web based sale of the line is about 70 pieces a month, domestically and from countries including Australia and South Africa.
Musa designed a new line of clothing, Inaya meaning 'to care' in Arabic, which is likely to be launched next year.
While Haya creations are simple, neutral-toned basic pieces with a modern touch on abiyyas, traditional Arab dresses or skirt-and-dress sets, Inaya will be younger, trendy and more modern with brighter colors with complex designs and fabrics.
Both Haya and Inaya have provided religious Muslim women better-looking clothing options that are easy to match, comfortable, stylish, and modest.
