Abhishek Bachchan's mother-in-law Brinda Rai has chosen gents' fashion designer Sharbari Datta to make the wardrobes he will be wearing at functions prior to his wedding. So his trousseau could have a Kolkata connection.
Datta informed the media that she has never designed for a six feet three inches tall man before.
She added that Brinda wants the trousseau complete by January 24, 2007 when pre-wedding functions commence. Brinda will select from the eight pieces she sends to Mumbai.
She will design sherwanis, kurtas, achkans, dhotis and chadars from pure silk for Big B's son.
Brinda has given preference to colours such as moss green, navy and electric blue, off-white, beige, maroon, grey and brown for the wardrobes.
