A person having German roots juggles his fashion designing between his teaching jobs at Fiji Institute of Technology catering school and University of the South Pacific.
Hupfeld creations are unique with hand painted motifs and spectacular patterns.
One of the characteristic themes in his collection is the Pacific with bright colors. Besides, he is most inspired by natural things and environment.
In 2005, he won the Fiji Development Bank awards, in addition to the Red Cross and Wella Fashion Designer Awards.
