The noted New Zealand fashion designer Karen Walker received much appreciation for her latest collection at the New York fashion week.

The designer came into lime light when world tennis Number one Maria Sharapova appeared on the latest cover of Teen Vogue wearing Karen Walker neon pink parka. This is her second season at the fashion week.

Karen's collection was inspired by a 1930s comic book heroine and she titled her winter collection as 'Karen to the Rescue'.

Her models wore a fantastic collection of shirts with jutting cape sleeves, nylon anoraks and cropped silk jackets worn over fitted Lycra cat suits and wide-cut trousers.

On the whole Karen Walker presented a wardrobe full of interesting, unique clothes.
