Designer Toshikazu Iwaya's presented 07/08 Autumn/Winter Dress Camp collection at Japan Fashion Week on March 14.
Men's wear offered neatly tailored suits, in bright colors and usually had fur-trimmed collar jackets. Pants had an effortless fall and hats made up the ensemble.
Women's wear also saw plentiful of fur in vibrant colors of yellow, pink, red and black colors.
Designer talking about his inspiration from Europe said, “I think Europe has superb skills in some of its manufacturing and textile works, but I also think overseas designers don't seem to be able to overcome their historical baggage and cultural references. That's where I think Japanese designers do better. I am hoping to be able to use Europe's history and go beyond that.”
