Designers from all over India will be selling their collections of clothes, shoes, jewellery and accessories at Hilton Towers on April 1 2007, without any price mark-ups.
Abhishek Dutta specialises in ancient embroideries with futuristic cuts with unconventional use of leather and crochet being his key feature. His creative talent ranges from women's wear to menswear, ethnic as well as Western, and extends to accessories too. His labels AD Normal and Abhishek D cater to different requirements of different clients.
Arnab Sengupta's collections revive traditional and folk crafts of India with rich detailing of hand embroideries, textures and colours inspired mainly by historical periods which include saris, jackets, lehengas, kurtis, sherwanis and skirts.
Chhuti & Raja's new summer collection include tunics, salwar suits in materials like velvet and soft jute with kantha work, hand and block painted patterns, minimal embellishments and gold prints.
Agnimitra Paul tries to reaches out to confident, independent individuals. Her USP is glam quotient and desire for her clientele to stand out in a crowd with unusual cuts, vibrant colours and judicious choice of wearable fabrics.
Jajobaa sisters Jyoti & Babita are bringing stylish yet subtle spring summer collection which is all about fresh new look to tops, tunics and skirts with a variety of colours and textures in trendy cuts and European prints.
