Newcomer in the universe of fashion creators, Evi Alexiou launches her first signature collection for the fall-winter 2007-2008.
Settled in Paris since 1991 where she graduates in fashion design, she acquires there a rich professional experience in luxury ready to wear brands, in particular at the sides of Maurizio Galante.
The collection she presents today reflects her image: feminine, sophisticated and unusual. From her Greek origins, Evi Alexiou inherited the taste of the detail; the love for the beautiful finishes, the technical prowess of an eternal know-how.
Parisian and cosmopolitan, her association with the contemporary art and the universe of Luxury consolidated her singular temperament, where an innate sophistication is combined with naturalness and anticonformist research.
Treating noble materials in an original way, like her coats out of cashmere and mink, the skins she uses for certain models are enhanced by new embroideries, strange prints, delicate attentions and elaborated cuts which offer to the fur and leather new perspectives.
Associating subtle colours to metallic tones, contrasted techniques to a great quality of realization, fruit of a rigorous selection of the best workshops, the collection is composed of long and short coats, adjusted trench coats, jackets, dresses, skirts and trousers, as well as knitted tops.
A luxurious contemporary wardrobe, with a touch of fancy, drops of humour, and a playful spirit: the mink is animated with exclusive appliqué prints, coats reveal lace linings, and can be transformed by removable collars and belts adorned with costume jewellery. A creative collection full of freshness under the sign of casual seduction and a fluid authentic allure.
