IFFI launches striking collection by Manish Malhotra

Exclusive Manish Malhotra collection is a fad not only among the bollywood biggies but also among the youth for whom fashion is becoming a mania more than ever before.
Designer Manish Malhotra is ruling the Indian cinema when it comes to providing unique designs to the industry. Recently, he uncovered his latest collection at a show held during the 38th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
The sari collection of the designer was immensely inspired by Bollywood fashion starting from the 50s till now. Sharing his opinion about the film industry the designer said, “Anything related to cinema and I am always there. I am showing five saris here which are very pretty, and these can be used in films and as a fashion statement off the screen.”
As a matter of fact, Manish also received the award of Excellence for his untiring contribution to the Indian film industry. While, Pooja Chitkopikar, Femina Miss India Earth 07 was honored for her international achievements, models Shawar Ali and Zulfi Sayed were also awarded for their outstanding performances in their profession.
Titled 'Cinema on the Ramp' the collection reflected the epoch dominated by celebrities like Helen, Raj Kapoor, Nargis, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Mumtaz, Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai.
