Designer Karl Lagerfeld is all in for the new French road safety campaign which reads – 'It's yellow, it's ugly, it doesn't go with anything, but it could save your life'.
Spotted donning this fluorescent yellow reflective safety vest himself, the designer took lead in launching the campaign on June 18.
Henceforth, French drivers will soon be required to keep security vests and flash red warning triangles every time they set off driving during an emergency.
A fine of $209 will be enforced with effect from October 1 for errant drivers not adhereing to Largerfeld's fashion advice.
