Pamela and Arch London founded the celebrated label "Murad" three years back. Pamela holds a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design from the Raffles LaSalle International Designing Institute Bangkok, Thailand. She started her career with President Park Housing as a Marketing Executive and later went on to work with Atlantic Mills as a Garment Production Manager.
Later Pamela opened her own company named Pamamarch Enterprise Ltd London UK, and her label Muraad came into existence at the same time. Pamela takes inspiration from different cultures and then presents them in her style. She has carved a niche for herself in the world of fashion and her imaginative mind is her forte. She creates beautiful and enchanting designs by taking inspiration from simplest things in life.
Muraad is all about looking beautiful and being beautiful. It's a woman's dream come true. Muraad personifies today's woman. Muraad is a luxurious fashion brand established in 2008. Growing within a fashion environment, with a family business of knitting fabric design, she had fashion in her genes since her formative years.
As a perfectionist and with a keen eye for detail and passionate about playing with different colours and fabrics to create a perfect blend of energy, she ensures Muraad garments are lovingly and exquisitely formed and presented. Pamela designs smart and chic dresses including evening wear. The brand takes inspiration from the architecture, colours and motifs of different regions around the world.
Muraad takes inspiration from; 'A woman's desire to be unique – she is the goddess that is not idolized. She is deity that is not adored. She is commotion, the calm. She is mystery, the tempest. She is celestial and earthy, innocent and erotic'. Talking about Muraad, Pamela passionately said “Two years ago, I decided to spend some time in Istanbul, Inspiration was on every street corner. Colours, fragrance, and the architecture – I was captivated, enthralled and hypnotized. True to my wish for freedom, I brought inspiration from different cultures, which became my aspiration for Muraad.”
Quoting about her designs, Pamela observes, “My style describes a quality in a woman, Bold, Elegant and Mysterious”. She further adds that “Fashion is creating something new through clothing and I seriously believe in the adage; 'The clothes you wear describe who you are'. The outfit you choose must match your personality and your attitude.”
