Designer Tomas Reyes floats MIKKA sportswear brand

The collection is sprinkled with whisper weight silk/stretch blouses and yarn dyed stripe "Edwardian" style silk taffeta shirtlings.
There are sexy "dollhouse party" skirts in billowy silk/cotton blended organdy and ethnic print sequin-adorned dance skirts.
Fabric specialties are burn-out patterns on cut velvets and matte shine double face silk/linens.
Prior to August Silk, Reyes worked at various sportswear companies in New York and Los Angeles.
He worked on his own name label for a few years in knitwear and decided to return to the woven arena where he landed a position developing private label product for major retailers in the American market.
High Fashion Group, LTD, a publicly-traded company on Hang Seng Market, made him the Design Ambassador to the American market collaborating with the US August Silk Company to create the high end MIKKA brand line.
