WHITE brings to you latest Spring Summer Collection 2011 by Sonali Mansingka. The collection is named as 'Poppy Art'. It is an ode to color, gloss, decoration and relaxed elegance. The collection takes its inspiration from abstract art and floral motifs.
The collection has been tailored keeping in sync with the hottest trends in fabrics on the global platform. Sonali uses summer staples in semi opaque fabrics, such as, chanderi, voile, linen and light silks are influenced by nature, texture and marbling effects. The designer has used the Color palette very distinctively with neutrals of inky blue, anemone pink and canvas white are mixed with overexposed accents of acid like coral, lime green, sorbet orange for minimal glitz.
Silhouettes & style remains pretty self defined with non-fussy and easy clothes. Shift dresses, sheath dresses and a mini collection, which is more towards a resort line, with lots of draping and pattern making remains the highlight of the collection.
