After recently closing the chapter on multiple successful seasons with her American retailer Addition Elle capsule collections, Canadian born fashion designer Jessica Biffi has branched out with her own debut line of women's wear, MizBiffi by Jessica Biffi sold exclusively to The Shopping Channel. Biffi, who has been sensitive to the fashion needs of women of all types since her debut collection premiered in Canada over 4 years ago, has created an easy to wear fashionable collection, which is thoughtfully engineered for the plus size woman.
In addition to a number of popular ready to wear runway collections, her custom couturier, the recent launch of her new menswear line and the third season of her jewellery line Covet by Jessica Biffi, the new plus size women's line will top off the 27 year old designers fashion house empire. Having risen to style fame while on the second season of the internationally syndicated show Project Runway Canada, Biffi's fans have been supportive from the beginning, making the decision to move into fashion development for the TSC a fairly easy one.
Biffi has expressed that her own mother is an avid shopping channel fan and it's women like her that have inspired her to produce the line. “I really wanted to create a universal line and be able to reach all the ladies across Canada, especially where fashion is not available for this particular customer. It is true the line does have a youthful feel, but it is definitely for more of a mature customer, one who is playing with confidence in addition trends.”
What can Jessica's customer expect on air date? Firstly, a 13 pc collection range in assorted tops, tunics, dresses, leggings and capris in a full plus size range from a 12 through to a 26, where the price points start at reasonable for bolder garments. Jessica has also handpicked accessories that originate from all over the world which will accompany and accentuate the pieces from the MizBiffi by Jessica Biffi line.
May 17th will be the first show date where customers can tune into The Shopping Channel network to get their hands on a MizBiffi by Jessica Biffi garment.
