The Sari is considered as the traditional dress of Indian women but with passing generations the style of wearing the sari also has changed.

There is no fear of the pleats coming off like in the normal Indian sari. The zipper saris are such a craze amongst youngster's coz they can easily pull it and zip it up like a denim. The son of a businessman Lalit discovered his love for fashion design as he fulfilled his father's request to assist him with his clients in their shop which sells high end garments.
Fired by his passion for cinema and theatre lalit even joined NSD n won quite a few awards. While his keen interest in art and theatre has proved invaluable in the way he thinks and designs. It was his imagination and talent that won him hearts for his first show and beckoned his future in couture creation. Intrigued by fabrics and the thrill of creating his own designs he took on an increasingly proactive role in business and decided to reach the heart of haute couture.
Designer to the brides' Lalit Dalmia began his journey with fashion in 1976. From his hometown before launching VLV. ''VLV'' is synonymous to high luxury bridal wear featuring an exclusive collection of hand crafted, jewellery embroidery design and motifs. The work emphasizes on elegance and richness of heritage that gives a royal feel.
