Jessica Simpson – American singer, actress, and fashion designer – has signed a deal to add an exclusive line for tweens (9 to 12 years old) to her already existing clothing and accessory brands.

Simpson will be co-designing the tween line along with her little sister Ashlee, who is also a singer.

The Simpson sisters will be supervising the designs of all 'fashion-forward' tween apparels including jeans, outerwear and sportswear.

Orders are already pouring in for the tween line, which is expected to be stocked in more than 400 stores throughout the US and Canada by the coming fall season. Lord & Taylor, Belk, Bon-Ton, Dillard's, Macy's, The Bay, etc. are all expected to stock the new Simpson's tween clothing line.

Simpson's existing jeans and sportswear labels are expected to achieve nearly US$ 200 million in sales next year.

Simpson is very elated and is aiming to achieve nearly US$ 20 million through sales of the new tween line.
