The Techtextil-Symposium North America is the industry's leading educational forum for technical textiles, drawing participation from high-level industry professionals, renowned international specialists and leading industry consultants. The symposium will be held March 28-30 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
Graham Budden has a degree in chemistry from the University of Bristol (UK) as well as research experience at the University of Cambridge (UK). He has broad experience in the use of silicones for the textile industry. For the past 10 years, he has worked on applications of silicone coatings in industrial textiles, in particular those used in automotive airbags.
Dow Corning is a leading supplier of silicone solutions for the textile industry. It was established in 1943 specifically to explore the potential of silicones. It was created as a joint venture between Corning Glass Works (now Corning, Incorporated) and The Dow Chemical Company.
