Dr Kane questioned as to why a diesel generating set remained on the list while wind equipments were deleted. He called for immediate addition of windfarm equipments on the list.
Currently several Indian corporates like Bajaj Auto, Ramco Group of Tamilnadu, Alembic Chemicals of Baroda, Guardian Glass, etc. have been effectively and efficiently using green power. Dr Kane said it is now upto the government to make it a large-scale movement.
