A good news for the chemical-industry workers and emergency workers.
Scientists have come out with a new rubber material laced with microscopic channels, which can obstruct dangerous chemicals to seep in while allowing sweat to pass through.
The new material is prepared with a combination of rubber with liquid crystals. The liquid-crystal molecule creates tiny ducts when come in contact with rubber.
Molecules of toxic chemicals are large enough to fit in the tiny passages, but water molecules are quite small can pass through the rubber material.
This outfit could be useful for purification of contaminated water, or eliminate sodium chloride from the brine.
