SME office makes efforts to develop industrial technology

The National Science and Technology Development Agency has inked a memorandum of cooperation with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises under the Industrial Technology Assistance Program (ITAP) for the growth of industrial technology in Thailand.
Jhitraporn Techacharn, Director-General of the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises said that this collaboration would help to enhance technological strength for the production sector. It would also help to build a connection between the industrial-sector demand and the research and technology development.
The Director-General also said that around 240 SMEs from sectors including textiles, wood and furniture, software, energy and environment would be developed. Around 100 million baht would be utilized to support the programme.
