Zhejiang Institute introduces sweet-scented fiber

Recently, new sweet-scented fiber is innovated by the research department of Zhejiang Institute of Modern Textile Industry which can have many fragrances like lavender, lemon, corn mint. This fibre has medicinal value as well.

This sweet-scented fiber can be used for home furnishings like pillows, bedding, ornaments and other kind of textile products.

Since this high quality fibre has natural flavours, the production cost reaches 7000 yuan higher than common fiber.

Official sources from the Zhejiang Institute of Modern Textile Industry told Fibre2fashion that it has developed advanced micro-capsule technology, so the sweet-scented fiber can keep the pleasant smell for a long time.

The institute is yet to begin mass production for sweet-scented fiber, however, it is likely to come out in the market by next year.
