Cotton yarn prices have kept pace with the rise in prices of raw cotton in the first fifteen days of September 2011.
Prices of 40s carded yarns which were ruling at Rs 155 per kg rose to Rs 170 per kg, up 9.67 percent on September 7 and have ever since maintained stability.
40s combed yarns too grew from Rs 170 per kg on the first day of the month to Rs 185 per kg, a rise of 8.82 percent on September 7 and have also remained flat till September 15.
