While viscose filament yarn output showed a marginal growth of 2.5 percent, manmade filament yarns showed steady decline in May, this year.
In general, the drop in polyester, nylon and polypropelene filament yarns resulted in the overall decline of the man made filament yarn output.
May production dropped to 97,280 tons, regiatering a 2.7 percent year-on-year decline from previous year's level.
Viscose filament yarns output stood at 4,510 tons.
