In the past week (October 12 to 18), island filament price in Shengze market was quite stable, but trade volume enlarged from the previous week, mainly due to strong demand from the polyester market.
Among them, trade volume of island filament FDY75D/36F increased significantly, as it is mainly used in production of suede by warp knitting machine, part of the fabric is used in production of composite polar fleece, and the other part is used in production of home textile materials.
In Shengze market, island filament FDY75D was offered at 13,800 Yuan per ton at the high end and 13,500 Yuan per ton at the low end. DTY215D-225D focused at 15,000-15,300 Yuan per ton, island composite filament DTY105D/36F × 37 was offered at 18,300-18,500 Yuan per ton.
