Huzhou Qiansi Home Textile Co.,Ltd., located in Yuyue Town in cooperation with Austria based fibre manufacturer, Lenzing Co.,Ltd. has developed silk tencel yarn, a new product, by combining tencel fiber and silk together.
Tencel fiber is a proprietary fibre developed and researched by Lenzing, which has numerous applications and is extracted from wood pulp, as a result of which, silk tencel yarn displays greater moisture absorption.
The home textiles manufactured from silk tencel yarn have been well accepted in the markets and apart from bringing benefits to the producers; it also has opened up a new product category, in the competitive textile markets.
