A very senior official of a textile trade association revealed that, profits realized by just 33 percent of China's cotton spinning enterprises account for 96.7 percent of industry-wide profits.
This indicates that a majority of cotton spinning enterprises are operating in a very negative environment; since they are not able to generate adequate or no profits.
This was revealed by the Vice President of China Textile Industry Association and President of Cotton Textile Industry Association, Xu Wen Ying.
