The cotton yarn market has shifted from exploding to a moderate state since mid-April, thus, some experts are of the opinion that, cotton yarn prices are at a turning point.
But most cotton yarn manufacturers are still insisting on the original price without price cuts, with only a few manufacturers providing short-lived price cuts with intention to clear stocks.
At present, mainstream price of average quality carded yarn 32s in the market is about 24,500 Yuan / ton, for better quality it is between 25,000-25,500 Yuan / ton, while price from small plants for lower quality is around 21,000-22,000 Yuan / ton.
The recent trends in stabilization of cotton yarn prices has in turn brought in a stability in prices of products like cotton fabrics, in the downstream sector.
