An M.Tech in Textile Technology, Karthikeyan has an extensive work experience of 11 years. After a few years of experience in the spinning and denim manufacturing industries, with a flair for teaching, Karthikeyan took a job of Overseas Teaching Experience at Ethiopia in the field of Textile Engineering for 3 years and in the field of textile and fashion for 6 years.

He is presently working as an Expatriate Lecturer in Textiles Engineering at Kombolcha Institute of Technology, Wollo University, Ethiopia.
