Mani Krishnan

Dr. Mani Krishnan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology at Sona College of Technology with more than 20 years of teaching experience in the field of Textile and Fashion Technology. He completed his Ph.D. in Textile Technology from Anna University. His research expertise includes sewing machine automation, sewing technologies for differently abled individuals, automatic button sewing systems, and advanced apparel manufacturing processes. His work mainly focuses on improving productivity, ergonomics, and automation in garment production through innovative engineering solutions. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to teaching, research, student mentoring, and industry-oriented developments in apparel and textile technology.
