US delegation to look into Nepali garment industry

The United States' official delegation is likely to visit Nepal in the month os September to study the state of Nepali garment industry.
First Vice-Chairman of the Nepal Readymade Garment Association, Prashanta Kumar Pokharel informed that the country's garment industry expects a lot more from the US delegations' visit.
The garment industry is currently suffering from sheer decline due to the quota provided on imports of Nepali goods products in the US, which expelled in last December.
Before the visit of US Senator and Congressmen's delegation, a squad of US staffers will visit Kathmandu for groundwork study.
Exports to US markets accounts over 80 percent of the country's total garment goods.
