Israel’s apparel imports were valued at $838.070 million during the corresponding period of 2024. China remained the largest apparel supplier, accounting for nearly half of the total imports. Imports from China stood at $465.058 million in the first four months of the current year, representing 48.41 per cent of total apparel imports, according to sourcing intelligence tool TexPro.
Bangladesh was the second-largest supplier with an 11.31 per cent market share. Israel imported $108.686 million worth of apparel from Bangladesh during the first four months of 2025. Imports from Turkiye stood at $64.059 million (6.67 per cent), from India at $44.064 million (4.59 per cent), and from Vietnam at $40.069 million (4.17 per cent).
As per TexPro, trousers and shorts were the leading apparel category in Israel’s total imports. Imports of trousers and shorts were valued at $203.862 million, accounting for 21.21 per cent of total imports during the first four months of 2025. T-shirt imports were $175.181 million (18.22 per cent), shirts $109.464 million (11.39 per cent), dresses $53.877 million (5.60 per cent), and other garments at $53.089 million (5.52 per cent) during the same period.
Israel’s total apparel imports reached $2,590.084 million in 2024, 15.36 per cent higher than $2,245.812 million in 2023. Imports had declined in 2023, falling by 16.57 per cent from $2,691.652 million in 2022.
