The Program Friday: Business Succession Planning
Every successful business owner eventually faces a decision: Should I sell or otherwise transfer ownership of the business – to a family member or group, a valued employee or group of employees, or an outside figure? This day-long program looks at the factors involved.
Sessions include: Elements of the Succession Plan Implementation of a Succession Plan Successor Selection Financial Security of the Principal Generation What the Successor Can Expect Roles of Key Managers: Now and Then
All sessions will be conducted by The Abbey Group, Ltd., directed by co-founder and co-owner Sandra L. Shirk. There will be full group and small group sessions, with take-home tools and hand-outs so participants can begin to develop and implement the various components of a succession plan that meets their own company's needs.
Saturday: Retailer-Vendor Relationship Building Structured sessions including panel discussions and round tables, followed by informal networking sessions in the afternoon, give retailers and vendors the opportunity to discuss the issues and challenges of building stronger relationships for the benefit of both parties.
